The first step on this journey began when Hasan Arapoğlu, with 26 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, retired in 1997 and founded a family company to realize his dream of producing accessories for Commercial and SUV vehicles. After graduating from the Vocational High School's Machinery Department, his children Ahmet & Mehmet Arapoğlu entered the business world with the aim of achieving a leading position in vehicle accessory production, as envisioned by their father Hasan Arapoğlu. With the knowledge and expertise they gained from their father and 18 years of experience working alongside him, they aimed to work in a different field. Through the experiences they gained, the two brothers later decided to venture into the field of off-road vehicle accessories due to their passion for design and production. This passion of the brothers, along with the dreams and ideas of their cousin Kadir Arapoğlu, who also had aspirations in the field of off-road vehicle accessories, led to the establishment of their first production facility spanning 1300 m² in 2013

Expanding their product range, they officially launched "ARP PLUS AUTO ACCESSORIES" on March 10, 2015, to operate in the automotive sector. They gained significant momentum on this path, and in 2017, they built their first facility covering 6300 m² in the İzmit district of Kocaeli, and established the sub-brand AQM4WD. Inspired by the initials of Ahmet-Kadir-Mehmet, who embarked on this journey together with the pursuit of a dream, and the abbreviation of 4x4 in English, they created the brand name AQM4WD. They possess the largest and most advanced high-tech machinery parks established in this field within their country, and they achieved a first in Turkey by producing delivery vehicles for the world's largest e-commerce companies.
